This is a screen capture of Genie's Individual Details screen, filled out with some sample genealogical data. You would typically get here by pressing the View Details button (looks like a small magnifying glass over a book) in the Individual screen (seen in the background).
The most interesting field in this screen is the Different Names Used... list. This shows all the different names by which this person has been known as documented by you in evidence records previously entered in the database. Note that an entry for Nov 21 1881 is selected. If you were actually running the Genie program on your computer, and you pressed the adjacent View button (the magnifying glass icon), the evidence record supporting that name spelling would be displayed in a subordinate window. If you thoroughly document your evidence as you go, this information is available automatically, with no extra data entry needed.
